Barcelona Food Guide II

This post is also available in: Bulgarian

Hello, my lovelies!

We just came back from a short visit to our last home Barcelona and we really had the best time! We have never returned to a city or even country we have lived in and I never thought I would love it so much!!! You are no longer living there and you have no obligations or work to do, neither you are a tourist to only go to the touristic places, so all you have to do is relax and enjoy the unique city. It was so nice and now we are also planning to return to England, Italy and Denmark just for a short visit… Yupiii, so excited and I cannot wait!!!

Meanwhile, I decided to make a Barcelona Food Guide II, because it has been a while since my first Barcelona food guide and we have found so much new and amazing places you could go to! Just like the first food guide, this one would also include only places we have personally tried and that we actually liked a lot, so that I can honestly recommend them.

Casa do Açaí Brunch & Coffee

This place opened quite recently and we found it last week on our short Barcelona vacation. Even tough, we were in the city just for one week, we went to Casa do Acai twice, just because I am obsessed with Acai Bowls and this place honestly has the best acai ever!!! You should definitely visit it and order Acai bowl with chocolate drops and peanut butter…I loved it!

Surf House

If you want to have an amazing brunch or lunch with a view of palm trees and endless sea horizon, this is definitely your place! It has been one of our favourite lunch spots for this past year, just because it is really healthy, delicious and has the nicest location! They have the best sweet potato fries and watermelon juices! We both love it and it brings such cute memories, like the one from the Brunch date by the sea blog post!

Alsur Café

We went to this place a while ago and I honestly regret not going back again! It is this super cute café in the center of Barcelona that serves the most unique waffle combinations. I have never thought that I would love avocado or chicken with sweet waffles, but it was soooo delicious! Definitely something interesting to try our!

Green & Berry

We found this spot by accident, but we were both super positively surprised by everything there. The food was amazing and they had acai bowls, avocado toast, but also they had the perfect matcha latte and different variations of my all-time favourite chai latte!!! Everything was perfect, but the lighting was pretty bad so the photo is not showing how good our food actually looked!

Tropico

This small café honestly has amazing breakfast! They have different types of pancakes and also scrambled eggs sandwiches! Everything is so delicious and the design of the place is very Moroccan inspired with a touch of typical Barcelona feels. But this is not the best thing about this lovely place… they had the most unique dragon fruit smoothie, which is so picture perfect, but is also so delicious. You should for sure try that one!!!

Ohla Hotel

If you want a nice relaxed place to just sit, drink some cocktails and admire the unique city, this is definitely the perfect place! Not only this rooftop has a pool and amazing cocktail list, but also they have the best view of Barcelona and the Barcelona Cathedral. It is for sure my favourite spot for a memorable Barcelona photo and also we had the most romantic evening drinks at sunset there!

Tommy Mel’s

For sure this place is unique for all the non-American visitors. Once you enter you definitely feel like you have travelled back in time to the 1950s to an amazing American bar with jukebox, authentic interior design and numerous milkshake options! I honestly loved the vibes of this place and I would for sure recommend you visiting it, if you have never been to an American 50s bar!

Cereal Hunters

This super cute and different spot is my sister’s most favourite place from whole Barcelona. Honestly, she still talks about this place!!! It is a small café with hundreds of different cereals, different types of milk and also different topics. They had so much options and variations of cereals that you could feel overwhelmed, but it is definitely something so different and interesting that in my opinion is a must visit!

Cookona

Another super distinctive place is Cookona. It is an all-cookie based café with so many different sweets and such interesting presentation. We went there just after it was opened and got to meet the cute lady that was actually making all the cookies. They had cookie sandwiches, cakes and even cookie milkshakes! Perfect for people like me with a serious sweet tooth!

P.S. I am not the biggest meat fan, but because of my boyfriend and some of our visitors, we have tried a few meat and steak restaurants and I can recommend you a few! Let me know in Instagram, if you want me to share them as well.

I hope this food guide helps you to get a better experience when visiting Barcelona!
