Hello, my lovelies!
Happy Valentine’s Day!
Love is in the air! I hope you all get and give a lot of love! Gift also your time and attention to your loved ones, because this is the most important not only on Valentines Day, but in every single moment. This said, I would like to quickly share our love story! I usually don’t like talking about this topic, but as it is the day of love I would share it with you.
Misho and I met about three years and a half ago when I was still studying in England and he was still in Denmark. Our relationship had just started when we both had to leave Sofia and go to our universities. Sitting here today in our apartment in Barcelona, I have never even imagined our relationship will actually go that far.
After two years of having a distance relationship and constantly travelling here and there to spend just a few days together, last year we finally moved into one country, even one city!!! Since then we have lived together in three different cities and it was and still is extremely exciting for both of us. It is fun how life turns out when you really passionately want something and you keep on believing that the best is yet to come!
For this Valentine’s Day, we actually didn’t plan anything, but the day planned itself in the best way! Knowing that my favourite part of the day is the lunch, Misho took me out for a typical Spanish lunch with seafood paella, mussels and lots of sangria!
We had the best time and it was so romantic, because there were so many street musicians playing love songs and also so many red roses everywhere.
After lunch we walked by the beach, talked and discussed our exciting trips in the next months. The day wasn’t as sunny and warm as I would have liked it to be, but it was nice!
Unfortunately, Misho had to go for a class and I went to a café to write the blog and edit some photos. The waiting was totally worth it, because when he came back, it turned out that he went to pick up my surprise: a custom made wooden jewellery box that he personally designed! It was so beautiful and so special, because it was engraved with a photo of us two from our very first trip to Venice in 2014.
Now we are leaving the cafe and we are about to go for a nice dinner and continue the amazing day! Be loved and spread love!
