Hello again, my lovelies!

The weather in Menorca is more than perfect now and we are going for a little adventure. I am pretty excited, but also a little bit terrified as I have never done that before… We are going kayaking around Menorca island!!!

The guys from our hotel ‘Artiem Audax’ offer some amazing adventures and were so nice to actually calm me down and make me more eager to do it and enjoy it rather than be scared about it.

So our day started in the best possible way! We went out with the kayaks into the open sea and started paddling towards some caves and some wild beaches. Unfortunately, I was still a bit scared of flipping over when we reached the caves and I didn’t make any photos, but it was an amazing experience. We put some flashlights on our heads and entered the cold and dark cave with the kayaks. I have never entered in a cave in the middle of the sea and it was literally so interesting.

After the cave we headed towards some virgin beaches. We were paddling over the most turquois water ever when we reached a small beach, called ‘Cala Mitjaneta’.

There were literally no people and it felt like we had the whole paradise to ourselves. We stopped there for a quick break, took a million of photos and just enjoyed the amazing ‘private’ beach!

We started going back to our beach ‘Cala Galdana’ as we were already paddling for more than two hours. To tell the truth my hands were getting pretty tired and I wasn’t even rowing the whole time (my poor boyfriend haha). If you decide to go kayaking, I really suggest you go with a double kayak and with someone stronger than you.

Anyways, honestly this was one of the best experiences in my life and I would totally go again as soon as I get the opportunity!!! We were so lucky that ‘Artiem Audax’ had this experience and that we went out with the best guide Alex (and Mathew), who took us to the best places and explained everything there is to us.

After this perfect adventure, we went for a short walk around our town and then decided to end the day in the hotel’s spa.

It was the perfect ending to a more or less tiring day! The spa was perfect, they had so many pools with very different temperatures literally creating the challenge to enter from 34°C to a pool with 12°C. However, the nicest thing there was the bucket shower, which was exactly like the bucket challenge and it was such a fun ending to the spa experience.

It was really an amazing day and it was honestly a very challenging day for me, but in the end I felt so energetic and with such nice memories!!! I totally recommend the kayaking experience to everyone!
